Chenies is about 20 miles north-west of London, just 2 miles outside the London’s M25 motorway.

By Road

Take exit 18 off the M25 and follow the A404 away from London towards Chorleywood and Amersham.  Continue on the A404 for nearly 2 miles passing St. Clement Danes School and into open countryside.  Chenies village is signed on the right.  If you miss the sign, continue for about 1/2 mile past Van Hage Garden Centre and turn right into Claypits Lane which also leads into the village.

By Bus

But route 103, operated by Carousel Buses, runs between High Wycombe and Watford via Beaconsfield, Amersham, Little Chalfont, Chorleywood and Rickmansworth.  It does not serve Chenies village directly but passes along the A404.  From here it is a short 1/4 mile walk into the village centre.

The service is roughly hourly on weekdays and Saturdays only.  There is no service on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

The timetable and more details can be found here.
